Tonight was so much fun. I went and had a personal make-up lesson at MAC. I love learning new tips and tricks and seeing all of the latest products. Tonight we focused on creating flawless skin using contouring and highlighting. It really adds a lot of depth and dimension to the shape of the face. And re-learning how to achieve that glow, especially for brides, was a fun reminder. We also did a basic, every day eye, then amped it up for a night time look. I also practiced how to use eyeliners combined with shadows and how to blend the two to get different looks. It was neat how she taught me too. We both took off all of our make-up and started from scratch showing me on her face, than I would copy her on my face. This experience was a perfect example of why I have the best job in the world. So much fun, I love it!!!

Tan Envy

My latest project has been to create a nicer environment for my clients to get their spray tans. My husband and I sectioned off an area in the garage and made this cute little tanning room. We also spent some time creating brochures complete with directions, tips and pricing for each client to take home. Spray tan is such a popular thing right now because it's instant gratification. Great for every day or for a special occasion. Everyone looks better with some color!
